The Thursday Thirteen meme seems like a pretty easy way to ease into having regular posts on the blog (next blog post- above). I think I'll do a Writer Wednesday (craft talk), an all about me!Me!ME! Monday (what's going on on a personal front with the writing, maybe with short excerpts, etc). I guess Free-for-all Friday has a nice ring to it, so that might be talk about a favourite show, book review, favourite recipe, hunky photo, linky madness, quizz/jokes whatever works. So that's 4 solid guaranteed ::crosses fingers:: days of blog posts.
Or maybe I can do a Tuesday Tune in, and that would be the linky madness to what's going on around the blogosphere, including newsy stuff on friends. The only problem with this is, by the time I do list the links, a *hot* story might be cold/dead, or been beaten into the ground on other blogs. We'll see how that works out.
So there you have it:
1. me! Me! ME! Mondays (catch up on what's going on with my current writing)
2. Tune-in Tuesdays (links to interesting posts/blogs)
3. Writer Wednesdays (craft talk)
4. Thursday Thirteen (meme)
5. Free-for-all Fridays (misc posts that will probably bleed in to the week-end.)

Keishon, I hope I can stick to this. The Thursday Thirteen will probably be the hardest thing to do, since I have to come up with a list of 13 whatever. And the crafty stuff, I might cheat and review chapters of the 900 gazillion writer's craft books I've bought over the years but never cracked open. Otherwise, talking about my writing, linking to stuff, or posting jokes, etc is no-brainer stuff. :-P
As for your blog, I check in every day, regardless. You usually have an ecletic mix of interesting topics going on. And you've turned me on to a number of good reads. :-)
Happy New Year!!!!
Yes, you absolutely should join the Writers who talk about Writing on Wednesday crew. It's unofficial, but there's quite a few of us now. *g*
Yep. That's partly were I got the idea. I was thinking of having a day for posting craft stuff, anyway, then I noticed that you, Alison and Monica Jackson all had Writer Wednesdays. ;-)
This is what I need ... some kind of schedule. My problem would be sticking to it :-D I'm not very good at that.
Your level of organization scares me LOL
Meljean, I may not *stick* to it, but I think I can. I've just divided up/categorized what I do here anyways and put it on a regular rotation.
Cece, setting goals and getting organized saved my bacon this year. I'd say it was the main reason I accomplished a lot I did. Especially when it was soo tempting to claim I was too tired/stressed. I just focused on one project at a time and just told myself: Just Do It. It worked. er... except for the writing. ::snort::
One good thing about the new schedule is, I'll be doing more linking to my blog buddies and their newsy posts, contests, etc. I used to do that a lot when I first started blogging, then kinda fell off.
This sounds great, Jaq.
And I also envy your level of organization.
