**ETA - Sorry for the absence, guys. Access to Blogger is blocked at work, so all the activity you've seen happening here was Kat doing her thing. (Thank you Kat!) I owe a bunch of replies to emails, but thank you, everyone, who sent along a personal message! And thanks for everyone who posted here, also! I'm working on 4 1/2hrs sleep, so bare with me as I slowly catch-up. Responses/replies are coming.

Raine I was going to (wanted to) keep the original leg pic, but then Kat gave me a little talking to about what might happen to peeps who use pics they just grabbed off the net from googling, without paying for the right to use it. :-P So, yeah, I paid for this one. lol. It makes a nice change.
Now I'm feeling the heat to write/sell, ain't no way I can have a site like this and only one book out! lol.
Raine, dontcha love it? My favourite part is the different headers with the different 'shadow' words behind the "Vanessa Jaye". Yes, love the colors! Love the subtle black strips in the background, and Kat did a great job with the navigation. It's easy to move around. Okay, so it's all my favourite part! lol.

This site is GORGEOUS! (And that's got nothing to do with my proclivity for the colors, lol.) LOVE it!
Very nice job on the new site. It's easy to read (I speak for all the old, half-blind people out here), easy to navigate, and has a distinctive look without being overdone. I like all the page headers, especially the one with the couple; they're gorgeous.
Have you thought about putting up a guestbook, or is that something for future expansion?

Deedle, thank you! I thought you'd like it. I think black/white/red is surprisingly popular for blogs (you, me, Alison Kent, Jo Leigh, Anne Fraiser, have this color combination, just off the top of my head. And yet, each is pretty distinctive in it's design)
Lynn- Guestbook? wassat? I'll ask Kat. I do have a yahoo group--that I'll be using as a newsletter rather than an active group, for now at least. Wait, is the guestbook sort of like this comment box? I'll have to think about that. I think I've read about more cons than pros to them.
