Julie and I were one on one crit partners for a couple of years. I sought her out after we were both participating on some silly thread over on eharl, where peeps were posting silly little bits of flash fiction. I was very impressed by her talent.
Still am.
I just got around to opening Friday's mail, and found this lovely bit in an unassuming brown package amongst flyers and bills, etc:
With an equally loverly inscription. Thanks Julie. Very proud of your accomplishments, happy to have play even the tiniest part, and thrilled that you have achieved so many of your goals/dreams.
So, dear blog visitors if you like a witty, light-hearted, hot, read, go check out any of Julie's books.

Oh Oh!! I read that!! I was lucky enough to con Julie into letting me read it for her when I went to Greece. LOL
I loved it! Can not wait to get my hands on the final product!!!
Sash, this version is a litte different. The one I critted, and the one I assumed you read, was more woman's fiction with romance subplot. I think she reversed that so the story mostly focuses on the romance with the external plot stripped down now.
Still pretty darn cool, surprising, an awfully touching, to see my name on the dedication page, never mind the hand written inscription and little note tucked in between the pages.
Anywho, it's not at Chapters-Indigo, you'll have to order it from Amazon.
IT's such a small, small world. I know Julie through my friend, Kathy Love. :)
Jordan, I think I saw you mention Kathy a couple of times. Very small world, indeed.
Looks like an interesting read. Love that cover.
Ok. Order through Amazon. I did enjoy the sotry so much, so I'm sure I'll still like this version.
And yes, the personal touch is what makes it so special. :)
Awwww, thanks. :-)
Any time, hon. ;-)
