Joaquin

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
Because you're mine, I walk the line

I find it very, very easy to be true
I find myself alone when each day is through
Yes, I'll admit that I'm a fool for you
Because you're mine, I walk the line.**

Wakka, wakka, wakka Joaquin. Woot! Woot!
Who loves ya, baby!
Lips 2

I saw him and Reece on Oprah about a month ago and they were talking about how they MADE them sing and play--amazing! And of course his personification of Johnny is uncanny! Yeah and he's hot too.

I haven't seen the movie, yet. Think I'll actually wait till it's on DVD. But I'm sorely tempted to watch Mr. Phoenix on the big screen. yum. On the other hand, I don't care much for Reese.

You know, I said the same thing. Love Joaquin, grew up listening to Cash, but I don't care for Reese.

But she blew me away. Joaquin is amazing in this movie, and she comes damned close to matching his performance.

I'm seriously considering catching a matinee tomorrow, and I NEVER see movies a second time. But this one is exceptional. The best flick I've seen in ages.

I hope to see the movie. Apparently Phoenix does all his own vocals in it. I also read that he checked himsaelf into an alocohol rehab centre six months after completing the movie.

I heard it was an accident too, Prairie Girl. This sounds like a job for Google! Be right back! ::zip,zip:: I'm back!

Well everything I read said that it's not a cleft palate thing, but some sort of birtmark, or at least that's what, Joaquin's sayin

Here's the quote from Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joaquin_Phoenix

The scar on Joaquin's lip is popularly believed to be the result of a repaired cleft lip. However, Joaquin Phoenix has stated in interviews that his mother, while pregnant with him, felt a sharp pain one day and he was born with a scar on his lip.

IMDB, says prettymuch the same thing. The scar is rather distinctive and doesn't take away from his looks at all.
