After hearing the concept--Synopsis: A sexy, action-packed thrill ride about a bored married couple who discover that they are enemy assassins. John and Jane Smith are an ordinary suburban couple with an ordinary, lifeless suburban marriage. But each of them has a secret -- they are actually both legendary assassins working for competing organizations. When the truth comes out, John and Jane end up in each other's cross-hairs.
--I thought it was cool, with a really great exernal conflict; but now that I've seen the trailer, (directed by Doug Liman, he of The Bourne Identity films), I just *hafta* see the movie. Mark your calendars people, June 10, 2005.
Wonder if I should rent War of the Roses as a warm up?

Who is your favorite "romance" writer?
Who is your favorite "literary" writer?
What did you have for dinner tonight?
Sure, Gazelder, put me on the spot, why dont ya?
er, I don't usually catogorize my favourite writers/novelists in that manner, because I read across the board. It's more of a this is on of my favourite writes, and this is the type of book s/he writes. And it would be impossible to say this is my *absolutely* favorite writer. :-P
So, I'll say, Margaret Atwood and Alice Walker are a couple of my favorite literary novelists, and Amanda Quick and Judith Ivory are a couple of romance writers whose work I enjoy.
As for dinner, we went out for an early meal, and I had the Galveston Sizzler--a combo number of grilled vegetables, chicken breast, a small steak, and skewer of shrimp, all on a bed of rice. It sounds like a lot more food than was on the plate, folks, the portions were small. ;-)
Hey, was just randomly surfing, and I must admit, you're very talented in the use of the english language. Few blogs have made me laugh like yours did! (Nice Brad Pitt. Dayum I say back to you too!)
Shall come back very often, now.

If Brad Pitt is in it, I HAVE to see it. *vbg* I hope she shows some skin in this one too. *winks*
Why,thank you, Aurenn (lovely name, btw) drop btw anytime. :-)
Angelina is gorgeous, isn't she? Apparently after initial viewing in front of test audiences, they're adding more lovescenes, so... ::wink:: lol
I'm probably a freak of nature, but I can't stand Brad Pitt, so I'll probably wait to see this when it comes to HBO in ten or so years. *g*
No, you and Hater girl Dream/Vanessa, both can't stand him. gg. It's just recently I've become fancinated by the guy. (Impending singledom? ::snort:: ) But it honestly *isn't* his looks, his too pretty/handsomeness was actually a turn off. I've gone through the same sort of attraction/reaction to Tom Cruise within the last couple of months, too. Oh, no! Has dementia already set in?!?!? lol :-P
As soon as I saw the trailer to Mr & Mrs. I knew it was a movie I had to see!
I'm not overly fond of Brad Pitt but I'll forgive that. This one looks like a winner!
Same here, Kat. The trailer was the deal cincher for me. Especially knowing who the director was--I LOVED both Bourne films. Ironically, that's another case of an actor I was meh about. I've been jonesing for Matt Damon ever since I saw those films.
( you're blogs pickin' on me again ... )
That's funny you should mention that about the Bourne movies. I kept hearing how confusing and hard to follow and just outright boring they were. I mean, from everyone I knew there were 0/100 recommendations. Like a moth to flame, I had to rent them ...
I LOVED THEM. And Matt Damon has been on my Hot list ever since. Boy looked good.
