Preface: I hate spoilers.
You know when a book is sooooooooo good, you just hafta peek at the ending? When the current scene is so deliciously embarrassing and/or so thickly fraught with potential danger for the protagonist, that you must skip ahead to page four-hundred-and-the-paragraph-before-the-end? When a character is so beguiling, and so charming, that you're not sure if he really is a bad guy and the suspense is gonna kill ya, so you flip to the Very Last page and do a quick scan?
Luckily for me it was the excerpt for the next book. lol

I used to read like that all the time - I'd read the first chapter and then read the last one and then go back and read the rest.
I don't do that anymore but I still like to know what happens at the end of the movie before I watch it. Spoilers actually make me happy :):)
HA! Serves you right! And that would totally drive me nuts because I DESPISE the previews in the back of the book. How dare they taunt me with a preview for something that isn't even out yet! Do they not understand that patience is a virtue I lack and have absolutely no desire to develop?
But I hope you get a chance to sit down and read the whole thing, and then hopefully, the book you were teased about at the end will be out soon. :)
Steph, my son would love you. He's the spoiler king. Drives me crazy! Drives him crazy too, because he's just dying to share his spoiler news. heh.
It's much worse than that Danica. The next book is out.... in hardback! *sob* I don't buy hardbacks if I can help it. They're too expensive, take up too much room on my bookshelves and are too darn heavy to lug around in my purse with the million other daily essentials I have crammed in there. :-P
WHAT!! No Peeking!!!
LOl
Too funny to get the excerpt though. LOl
HAAAAAAAAA does serve you right! I'm so bad i cover up the next page with my hand when I'm reading so I can't peek!
At least the next book is out. I hate reading an awesome book then having to wait a year for the follow up.
I've done that too! Ha! I almost put down the book, angry that she would let it end on such a cliff-hanger. Thank you for admitting such a bad habit in public.
