D'oh!

Once again I come creeping in after a long absence. :-P This has been a very, very, very hard year to get through. It took a lot out of me, which meant I kinda hunkered down in survival mode and didn't expend myself in anyway unless necessary. But here's to next year being (much) better. So today's plan is: we get the Christmas tree up and the gifts wrapped and I get a good start on the manic-super-extravanza-awesome-house-cleaning-before-Santa-arrives-apalooza.

On the writing front, I'm still plugging away on Mitch's story (follow up to Hunter of the Heart). And speaking of Hunter, here are a couple of reviews I stumbled across in the last couple of days:

Over on Two Lips Reviews they gave HotH 4 lips out of 5!:

"Ms. Jaye draws the reader seamlessly between Tessa’s growing self awareness and Nate’s journey as he lets go of his grief. The emotion and passion felt by both leaps from the pages. As a reader, I wanted to cheer when Tessa stood up for herself and bop Nate on the head when he was missing the point. I grinned and sometimes laughed out loud with the dialog between Nate and his friend Mitch. This story was well written. This author is a new one for me and I am looking forward to reading more from Ms. Jaye in the future."

And Happily Ever After Reads gave it 3.5 stars out of 5:

"This was a nice, shorter read, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick shifter story with some angst and some hot lovin’."

:D

And now for some fun. This quizz made me laugh my ass off when I read the answers. I got 3 out of ll right, so forget about housework, I'm going to have a stiff drink and go back to bed now - lol - but see if you can do better. The answers are in the comments.

discovered yet.

Answer: Billy lives in the Southern

7. In California, you cannot take a picture of a man with a wooden leg. Why not?

Answer: You can't take pictures with a wooden leg. You need a camera to take pictures. (this one was a bit of cheat because you needed the comma after 'man' to get the answer right! Also, you can so take a picture with a wooden leg: remove the leg, hold it in your hand and push the button. heh)

8. What was the President's Name in
1975?

Answer: Same as is it now - Barack Obama. (I'm also giving this answer the side eye. <--@_@ )

9. If you were running a race, and you passed the person in 2nd place, what place would you be in now?

Answer: You would be in 2nd.. you passed the person in second place, not first.

10. Which is correct to say, "The yolk of the egg are white" or "The yolk of the egg is white"?

Answer: Neither, the yolk of the egg is yellow.

11. If a farmer has 5 haystacks in one field and 4 haystacks in the other field, how many haystacks would he have if he combined them all in another field?

Answer: One. If he combines all of his haystacks, they all become one big stack.
