Da boy (looking puzzled and a little annoyed): Why did you say it like that? (meaning Jaye's smug tone of voice).
Jaye: "Because you keep saying you don't see any difference. But see, I have lost weight!"
Then he says.....
wait for it.....
"I don't see you for your physical being. I see you for your spirit."
Somewhere along the line, I did something right by this kid. ::sniffle::

I've found the 10 lbs you lost, I'm sure. lol I'm sitting on at least five of it.
Ditto on the good looks. He's got that covered. The comment was sooo sweet, so deep... yep, you're no doubt going to have to lock him away if you want to keep him awhile. lol.
Hope you're feeling better. Everyone in my fam from the oldest to the toddlers has been sick. What a way to start the new year, huh. Hopefully it's over. Good luck with work and with writing...mostly the writing, lol. Be good to yourself.

Eve, just about everyone in my family back in England had the flu at one point or the other either just before we came, while we were there, or just after. I'm not sure how Day and I didn't catch it, but I guess I still caught the tail end of it.
Hope your family is feeling better by now, especially the little ones. It's always hard to see them sick. :-/
