But by the time I get home at night, I'm absolutely brain dead. Any brain power I do have is used up either edits (I *think* I'm done, but there might be one more round) and doing stuff for the new website (which is looking sweeeet.)
Oh, and waging war with the neighbour's cats who for some reason started to use my backyard as a latrine.
And that's all I got.
Except, here's what I'm reading:
It's damn good. There's a lot of dark, twisty, horrific takes on fairy-tales incorporated into the story. It reads like a very dark Grimm Brother tale.
That's my review.
Live with it.
Or scroll down the Amazon page and read those reviews. No spoilers, but I think they reflect my own opinion.

This is SO on my to buy list--along with about 50,000 other books LOL
I can't wait to see your website!!
Amie, I'm really enjoying this book. Really like the protag, and in particular I like the horrific twists on standard fairy tales. The book is really a string of shorter stories/adventures of the main protag.
Sasha, I can't wait either. lol. It's nothing fancy, I picked out a wordpress template, and we're customizing with a different header, but even that we're keeping simple, very reminiscent of what I've got here, actually. Kat's doing this for free and I was already driving her nuts being so picky about the images on my very tight (non-existent) budget. So I scaled back my ambitions, but I'm happy with the results so far.

Well dang, lol!
(Also looking forward to website...get some rest, Ms. Jaye).
Raine, I write sucky reviews, but even for me this is pretty sucky. lol. ::must put brain cells to rest now::
