The kid and I have this routine. He'll say something, doesn't matter what, the point is to annoy (me) and get jollies (him).
Since I know what he's about, I 'ignore' rather than get annoy.
At which point he says, "Hey! Hey, mom! I'm talking at you!" and smirks.
I always reply: "I'm hearing you, but I ain't listening."
ahem.

I put my kids on ignore too. In fact, I had to do that with my daughter yesterday. Otherwise I would have said something I'd regret. So I just walked away.
You two need to get a stand-up routine together, lol.
"So I just walked away."
lol. That works too.
He's not really trying to get me angry, just tweaking my nose a bit to get a rise out of me. Or just so he can use the 'talking at' line. *g*
Raine sometimes it feel like a comedy routine in here. Then every once and awhile it verges on a tragedy.... ;)
