Seventy Days of Sweat.

Monday, July 09, 2007

Yeah, I'm crazy to be doing this, it's probably my meds talking (I've been sick all week-end-- who the hell gets the flu in July?) but I'll blame Steph and her kick ass motivating post at this point. I'm already working on the revisions, and I did plan to jump right in on another ms and my one an only goal for writing this year was to finish an ms. This challenge fits the bill.

You didn't even need to sign up, Sash. You go wait until Oct 15 then write your whole dang book in a two week non-stop writing spree. lol.

I guess I am making improvements. A month ago I would have avoided this challenge like the plague.

I want to do this, but with the twins, I can't guarantee daily writing. So, I'll vary it.

Good luck!
Dee

Hmmm...I suppose the expression "glutton for punishment" has become cliche, huh?

I just wanted to keep the momentum going, Raine. :-P Yesterday I wrote one page of new stuff (new scene/new pov) for the revison. Up until yesterday I've been adding/cutting a paragraph here and there, while making the new stuff dovetail into the existing scenes. It been slow going. But that one page with my fingers flying at 12:30am felt really, really good. Like old times. Just the type of punishment I need. ;)

On the other hand I went back to work today because I didn't feel I could justify another sick day. I wish I had. Feeling pretty miserable right now. ;-/
