Dilema

I'm thinking that my hero is blind or partly blind. It could be interesting. But I *know* it will be a challenge to write in his pov if I do go this route.

On the other hand, some times victim critter Raine will be so relieved to know there won't be much 'gazing' happening on my hero's part.... ;-)

On the other other hand, "blindness" could be a theme running through the story.

You need to go with what will work best for the story. I know that's obvious advice, but it's true. :)

*sigh* Yeah, I know. This post was just me "wiggling on the hook". lol.

Oh yeah, use me as an excuse for plucking the poor guy's eyes out.
(Snort!).

It's an interesting wiggle.
Could be tricky to pull off, and your story's full of great images, not to mention he'd never see her dancing...but I like the theme of blindness. Interesting.

You really like to stretch your muscles, dontcha? :-)

Aw, com'on, Raine, if I can't use a friend as a scapegoat, who can I use? ;-)

I think he's going to be 'partially-blind'. lol. I bit of a cop-out, but I can see (yukyukyuk) 'gazing' replaced with an over abundance of scents and smells, etc; if I make him 100% blind. ;-)

Sounds like an interesting idea, Jaye. An out-of-the-box idea. :-)

Linda, it's gonna suck. *g*

Well, hopefully not the actual results/writing. But the process/writing is going to be a PITA. I love being in the hero's pov and have him gazing-- er, noting the color of the heroine's eyes, the shape of her lips, etc; and detailing his reactions (emotional & physical). I guess I didn't know how dependent I was on the sense of 'sight' until now. :-p
