Ya think? :-P I've seen a couple of 'meh' reviews on the book around the blogosphere, but Ms. G really, really, REALLY didn't dig this one.
On the other hand, I'm sure it's on several best seller lists. I've never read a LKH book, so, 'feh'.
I confess--I was genuinely amazed by that review!
I think I read the whole thing with my mouth open, going
"omigod..."
"ewwww..."
"ssssss..."
"ack!"
"owww!"
"whoa!"
"ouch!!"
That's definitely an ouch. I didn't like any of the LKH books until I went back and read the very first one. Afterwards, I had an 'Aha' moment. So this is why readers like her stuff.

Jordan, I've heard that the first books in the series are really good, then the later books sorta 'devolved' into a continuous orgy of audeur(sp?) heh. I read once novella by her (from the later years) and it was indeed a f*ckfest. Plus, while she is definitely a skill writer, her voice doesn't really work for me.
Someone somewhere mentioned she was at the top of the USA Today list.
Not surprised at that Cece. I'm sure she's on a bunch of other bestseller lists as well.
