What, no one has commented on this link? It's footage of a giant octopus eating a shark. For real. It was filmed at some aquarium. They moved the octopus into the shark tank temporarily, thinking the po' widdle octty could defend itself by camouflage, etc. Then the shark carcasses started showing up. So they set up a camera overnight to see what the heck was going on. Go check out the vid. Go. Shoo.
**Yes, I freely admit to watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kindom every sunday after church as a kid. That was some good shit.

I used to LOVE Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Great show. Marlon Perkins tramping through Africa. Not to be missed. It's funny how little marine biologists know about ocean creatures.
I tried to watch it and only got audio. Must not be a MAC compatible video. That sucks.

I miss Wild Kingdom, the new shows are the same. You really 'felt' the majesty of the nature and her untamed inhabitants watching that old show. The new stuff is lacking.
