It's been a hell of a week. Accent on the 'hell'. The temperature & humidity has been unbearable, and sleeping at night near impossible-- more an exercise of stewing in your own juices. (yeah, I know, 'ewww').
Our apartment became The House of 1000 Fans, since we had no a/c. It died. After I lugged it into the window, of course.
Finally, yesterday, when the temperature dropped down from a blistering singe-your-eyebrows-off degrees, to balmy curdle-your-intestines Celsius, I went to Canadian Tire and bought a new a/c unit. Today we got her all set up. It was 93 freakin degrees in the livingroom when I first turned that muther on, now it's 80, and dropping....
