I'm in the 2%

Friday, December 29, 2006

It's free-for-all Friday, y'all. That means I don't have to tax my brain none when it comes to posting. lol. Here's a fun quizz my sister emailed me. She's in the 2%, too. Which just proves we're a famiy of weirdos:

Take this Test:

At the end of this message, you are asked a question. Answer it immediately. Don't stop and think about it. Just say the first thing that pops into your mind.

This is a fun "test"... AND kind of spooky at the same time! Give it a try, then check the comments and you'll see how many people fall into the same percentage as you. Be sure to post if you're among the 98% or the 2%. You'll understand what that means after you finish taking the "test." Now - just follow the instructions as quickly as possible.

Do not go to the next calculation before you have finished the previous one.

You do not ever need to write or remember the answers, just do it using your mind. You'll be surprised.

Start:

How much is:

>
15 + 6

3 + 56

89 + 2

75 + 26

25 + 52

I know! Calculations are hard work, but it's nearly over..

Come on, one more! :

You just thought about a red hammer , didn't you?

If this is not your answer, you are among 2% of people who have a
different, if not abnormal, mind.

98% of the folks would answer a red hammer while doing this exercise.

This test is very funny, I did answer red hammer!!!

My sister thought black hammer, and I thought blue screwdriver, but my very next thought was 'red hammer', then I thought, "no,no,no, don't cheat." *gg*

I wonder why most folks think red hammer. Must be a reason.

Anywho, glad I gave you a chuckle, Lara.

I thought hammer because is the only tool that I know the name!!

...it's a really good thing you guys don't have my address or I'd end up in the insane asylum.

I got green screwdriver. LOL. Maybe because I've been getting green captchas from Blogger?

I must be in the 3%. I thought Blue Hammer.

What's with the bloody hammer? LOL!

Hmmm, maybe that's what we're really thinking about?

Hammer = a good bang?

I'll go with that. ;-)

(don't even bother acting shocked. Just how long did you think I could behave?)

And speaking of banging.... time to get back to my erotic romance. lol.

Yellow screwdriver.
Going quietly away now... :-O

To follow on to Jaye's hammer and banging comment, I've figured out why some of us got screwdrivers. Screwdrivers and Screwing!

I amuse too easily.

LOL, May. Great minds think alike. ;-) With all the screwing and banging going on around, I'm gonna have the change the name of this place from Procrastination Station to Booty Blog. ;-)

Dude I get the feeling you started with a little Rum and Coke. ;-)

Steph!!! :tackle hug:: Haven't seen you in these parts for awhile (I know, I know, you've been uder the gun writing Jake's story. You *are* writing Jakes, story, right? ::hyperventilating:: )

Gasp! A Puritan AND a two-percenter? What next, Raine. What. Next. ? *gg*

Samantha. A freakin spade? lol. I think that makes you 2% of the 2%. lol.

Ha Purple screwdriver!

Red hammer here. It is freaky indeed!

Samantha sent me over to take the test. My answer was green hammer.

I'd be interested to see if there is any difference between the way males respond to the test versus females.

Red shovel. Hmmm. Maybe it's time to bury a few dead bodies....

vanessa jaye said...

Samantha, Sela, becky, mysti, you 4 go stand over in the corner. *g* y'all screwed up the bell curve for the rest of us in school, too, I'm betting. ;-)

It *is* intersting that it's mostly hammers and screwdrivers that are being named. Could it be because most of us are writers/avid readers, why we're not hitting the 98% standard? I'm kinda surprised becky is the first person to come up with 'saw'.

Amie Stuart said...

what does becky know that the rest of us don't know? *ggg*

Blue hammer. It feels so good to be abnormal:-)

Lara Adrian said...

Weird! I came up with orange hammer. So I guess I'm *nearly* abnormal. Now I want to know WHY this test produces such a common result!

Sasha White said...

OMG! My first thought Blue Belt (Thinking tool belt) then thought. Hmm That might not be a tool. So I thought Blue Screwdriver too! Red or Hammer never even entered my mind. LOL

Very cool .:) I like being Different. *grin*

Anonymous said...

I didn't. I think I've got a dirty mind because Pink Screwdriver came into my head.

I'm clearly 2% abnormal and oddly proud of it.

Black breaker bar, but I've been working on a novel today with white/black symbolism and the breaker bar was one of the character's primary weapons of choice.

Happy New Year. :)

vanessa jaye said...

It's official. Lynn wins the weirdo of the year award. lol. (What the heck is a breaker bar?)

And Happy New Year to you!

See, RWA? I always knew I'd win something someday. I'm going to Disney World!

A breaker bar is a long metal bar-type tool. You use it with a socket wrench to break loose rusty or tightly-threaded bolts. The length of the bar allows you to apply more torque on the bolt. It's heavy, solid and makes a decent impromtu club.
